Reference Sample to Pilot Batch
A reference product can define texture, appearance, glide, fragrance, dispersion, packaging or user-experience targets. WODE converts those targets into an agreed development brief, prototype rounds, validation plan and commercial scale-up path without promising an exact copy of an unknown or protected formula.

Commercial routes
Choose the route before quotation
OEM / ODM / BULK / PRIVATE LABEL
The best route depends on the approved product, buyer capability, packaging, destination, commercial quantity and requested documentation.
Sample intake
Receive the physical sample, original pack, product information and a written list of characteristics to match, remove or improve.
Target definition
Translate buyer language into measurable targets such as appearance, pH, viscosity, dispersion, sensory profile and pack performance.
Prototype rounds
Prepare controlled samples, record changes, collect structured feedback and freeze the approved reference.
Pilot and scale-up
Confirm raw materials, process, in-process checks, packaging compatibility, pilot settings and commercial release plan.
Decision matrix
Facts procurement teams should confirm
No unsupported fixed assumption
| Decision area | Current WODE guidance and confirmation point |
|---|---|
| Buyer submission | Reference sample, original package, product link or specification, target market and priority characteristics. |
| Analytical scope | Tests are selected for the product and brief; a generic analysis does not reveal every ingredient, process or protected know-how. |
| Prototype control | Each version receives an identifier, change record, retained sample and buyer feedback status. |
| Packaging work | Review contact material, closure, dispensing, leakage, label adhesion and line compatibility with the approved formula. |
| Pilot preparation | Define raw-material status, process order, equipment, batch controls, acceptance criteria and retained samples. |
| Commercial release | Approve formula, specification, artwork, packaging, quality plan, quantity and destination responsibilities before production. |

Buyer questions
Answers that prevent RFQ delays
Can WODE make an identical copy?
WODE can develop toward agreed measurable and sensory targets, but does not promise an exact copy of unknown or protected formula and process information.
What sample quantity should I send?
Confirm the product type and planned tests with WODE first so the project team can request an appropriate amount and packaging reference.
How many prototype rounds are included?
The development scope and included rounds are agreed in the project quotation; additional direction changes may require a revised scope.
When does a prototype become production-ready?
After the approved sample is converted into a controlled specification and the process, packaging, quality and destination requirements pass the agreed release gates.
